How did this site get started?

What a lucky bastard was conceived at an airport in northern Mississippi in July of 2008.  Two bored pilots were talking about websites and the conversation went something like this:

“I’ve been been thinking about starting a website”

“Oh really.  What’s your idea?”

“We all know a lucky bastard.  A fat guy with a hot wife,  a guy with a hole-in-one,  A athlete with a big contract, a fisherman that hooked the state record. That would be the site”

“Let’s start it”

“Now?”

“Yeah…got 15 minutes?”

That was how it was started.  This is who started it…

About Lucky Bastard Clay

Clay is a lucky bastard pilot indeed. Clay is not only lucky because of his beautiful wife and daughter he is also lucky because he met Paul the web page guru that set up the site. This site is dedicated to all of those people who are at the top of their game or just extremely lucky (we prefer the latter). Let us hear from you so we can share all of the love that lady luck has to give. 

About Lucky Bastard Paul

Paul is a lucky bastard because he is a pilot (for a living).  He is also lucky because he has a beautiful wife, beautiful kids and a great job.  The other reason that Paul is a lucky bastard is because he ran into Clay who had a great idea.   Paul knows that he is not really “lucky” but that God has been very very good to him.   (But he still considers himself a very lucky bastard.) Paul likes to make websites on a whim with random pilots in Mississippi.
